Embark on an exciting adventure in the morning after breakfast, exploring the south and the Draa Valley with a private tour from Marrakech in a luxurious SUV or minivan. Journey through Berber villages and over the Tizi n'Tichka pass, one of Morocco's tallest passes at 2,260 meters, and marvel at the stunning scenery and dramatic landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival at the 17th-century World Heritage Site Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, take a guided tour with a local professional and visit the fortified palaces of the Kasbah. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Ouarzazate for a photo opportunity at the old UNESCO Kasbah Taourirt. Then, travel south towards Zagora through the valley of Thousand Kasbahs and the largest palm grove in Morocco, a 185 km drive. Upon arrival, enjoy a mint tea and prepare for a 1-hour camel ride to your desert camp in the middle of nowhere, where you will spend a memorable night in a nomadic Berber tent and admire the beautiful sunset over the dunes and palm grove.
Rise and shine to witness a stunning sunrise in the Zagora desert, surrounded by mountains and small dunes. Enjoy a traditional breakfast before departing on a camel ride to your hotel in Zagora. After a refreshing shower, make your way back to Marrakech, crossing the Draa Valley and stopping in Agdez to visit the 500-year-old Kasbah Tamnouggalte, the first Kasbah of the region. Continue through the anti-Atlas to reach Ouarzazate and take an optional tour of the movie studios. Stop for lunch at a typical restaurant a few kilometers after Ouarzazate and then pass through the Tichka pass before arriving back in Marrakech and being dropped off at your accommodation.
